As artists of many mediums, we spend our lives devoting countless hours of study and practice to masterfully express our ideas, beliefs and philosophies through many art forms. We help others appreciate the beauty of life, whether we’re producing thought provoking, symbolic works of art, or simply invoking joy through use of playful color and form. We are flawed, authentic and natural. Our work not only belongs to humanity, but helps to define it.
The rise of artificial intelligence now poses a critical threat to our society and the environment. We must fortify our understanding of how these new technologies can be used properly, and how they have quickly become a threat to our livelihoods through dark practices and copyright infringement.
